DOC MIKE specializes in pediatric FOOT CARE.
The correct orthotics (like the ones shown below) can help control
the excessive motion & pronation (flattening of the arch)
in the foot...
This can lead to flat feet, tripping & falling, and delay in walking...
Very commonly associated with DOWN SYNDROME.
Doc Mike sees many children with 'low-tone' feet. These children
display moderate to severe 'pronation' upon weight bearing (excessive
flattening of the feet when standing). The majority of the children
currently wearing this type of orthotics are diagnosed with Down
Syndrome, Hypo-tonic Cerebral Palsy and/or Developmental Delay.
